Do As I Say . . .

I caught Maggie Anne writing on her legs. I told her to stop and that legs were not for writing on. She looked up at me and said, "Like your frog, Mommy!" She's referring to my tattoo. I didn't really have a response for that.

Check out those kissable cheeks and the ever-satisfying smile!

Jessie Anne enjoyed this singing dog with flapping ears at the same Kelli's showroom. We were amazed at how many of them were still bigger than she is.

Maggie Anne helped me make some buying decisions at Kelli's Showroom! She was a very patient girl while I caught up with my friend Niki. However, I do not know if the showroom will ever be the same.

Maggie Anne had some fun at the Dallas Zoo.

Maggie Anne was in meltdown mode the other night. Dalton was trying to tell me something and having a hard time over all the noise his sister was making. He calmly looked over and said, "Maggie Anne, would you please go cry in another room. I'm trying to talk here."

Maggie Anne's improved speaking is leading to some fun stories. She, Boyd and Dalton took a walk on Sunday and of course she had to climb up on anything she could find, twirl around and say that she was a 'rina (as in ballerina).

There's a house on our street with a VW Beetle which Dalton has always called a bug car. Boyd pointed out the bug car to Maggie Anne who responded, "No, Daddy. People car!"
I have always gotten some of the best pictures of my kiddos while they were at the doctor's office. Jessie Anne had her two-month checkup and has grown to a marvelous 10 pounds, 1 ounce. She seems big to us, but she's still just a tiny thing.

Maggie Anne asked to hold her hungry baby sister. Jessie Anne proceeded to try to latch onto Maggie Anne's cheek. A little confused, Maggie Anne looked up at Boyd who told her that she got a kiss. Maggie beamed at him and exclaimed, "She likes me! She likes me!"

Today I told Dalton that he was making his sister nuts. He informed me that I was not allowed to say that (nuts) in front of him since it was a bad word for him. I started to explain that it was different, but just gave up before even trying.
