Dalton was asking me what grade he would be in when Jessie Anne started to school. I figured it up and told him that he would be in 6th grade so he wouldn't be in that school anymore. He thought for a minute, looked up at me and very sincerely asked, "Is that when I have to go to work?"

It's not the best quality because it's a picture of a picture, but you get the idea of how precious these turned out. Before anything is said, these were taken at the daycare. Dalton was at school and couldn't be in them.

Be still my heart! We had to act like we were not paying attention (because they can't be nice to each other in front of us). Dalton just finished reading (yes, reading!) The Very Hungry Caterpillar to Maggie Anne! It was so cute because he was doing the same thing that we have always done with him. He would leave a sentence hanging and let her fill it in. This is how we knew they were reading because we could hear Maggie yelling "HUNGRY!!!!!!!" when Dalton prompted, "But he was still . . ."

We just discovered last week how nice they are to each other when we aren't looking. Yes, we were spying on them in the back yard. Don't tell them that we know!
Sometimes I fail to understand how my son's mind works. Sitting at the breakfast table he wonders what it would taste like to add syrup to his orange juice. He thinks for a second and asks, "Would it make cheese?"

Is your head shaking yet?
As I'm making coffee this morning, Dalton came into the kitchen behind me and said, "When I saw this, I thought of you." I turn to see what has triggered this sweet sentiment just to find him with my bra which he proceeds to swing around over his head.

Don't know how it is at anyone else's house, but at ours, you cannot have fish sticks without mac 'n cheese. Well we happen to be out of that delectable cheesy creation, so Boyd suggested that we make some rice instead. Dalton looked at him and said, "That just doesn't make any sense!" Creatures of habit, we are.
I've had the best experience planning a Disney vacation through Pixie and Pirate Destinations (specifically Sonya). I'm fairly (Boyd will say that is a slight understatement) engrossed in the planning process and with Sonya, I can do as much or as little of the planning as I like. She has been totally awesome answering all of my pesky little questions. Oh, and it doesn't cost you any more than it would to book it straight through Disney.

I just like to pass along when I have a good experience.

Every single morning this week, Maggie Anne has announced as we head off to school that "Tree boogers are everywhere!" . Tree boogers is what our family has not-so-affectionately named the Oak tree pollen tendrils. Spring has definitely sprung.

Tonight I was getting Jessie Anne giggles by "biting" on her tummy. Maggie Anne came into the room and told me that "The baby is not a snack!" She was very matter-of-fact about it at first, but got pretty upset with me after a minute. I had no choice but to show Maggie where all those giggles were coming from. I just had to use a Maggie Anne tummy to "snack" on instead.

We tried the Kool Aid dyed eggs. The purple turned out a little dark, but overall, we were pleased.

Helpful big brother.

Obviously, Jessie does not like to share the spotlight with her sister.

Maggie Anne saw this picture and said, "Oh dear! My baby is crying!"
