I recently moved our bath towels to the closet where I store my candles. This has the nice benefit of making the towels smell nice. The first time Dalton got a fragrant towel, he thought about it and said it smelled like Christmas.
Maggie Anne smelled her towel and said, "Hmmm . . . it smells like . . . green beans!"

It's that time of year again. Just want to ask our friends and family to pull us any of these General Mills Box Tops for Education for Dalton's school. They received over $1,800 from this program last year (really impressive when you consider they are worth $0.10 each).
We get an extra perk because Maggie Anne loves to glue the tops to these sheets I get online.
Thanks so much for your help!

Made this fun new snack today that I got from this website - http://blog.superhealthykids.com/2010/06/roasting-beans/
Roasted Chickpeas! Their recipe has parmesan and salt, but we added garlic and Tony's and we ALL (yes, even Dalton a little) liked them. Maggie was chowing down on them. I actually had to roast them a little longer than that recipe called for because we wanted them a little crunchier. Plan on trying some other canned beans like red kidney and navy beans.
Sorry it has been so long! I lost my grandmother and with school starting back, things have just been crazy.
It's Saturday morning, and Maggie Anne got the special treat of sleeping in our bed last night. When I went to get the baby to feed her this morning, Jessie was crying a little in the bed. Maggie Anne rolled over and started to rub her face sweetly. I love those little moments of sincere sweetness. When they are asleep, they can't fake it, and there's a much smaller chance that they are going to do something mean! :-)
