Maggie Anne got a My Little Pony themed Chutes and Ladders game. She calls it Chutes and Ponies, but it always sounds like Shoot Some Ponies. Makes us giggle every time.

Is it just me, or does our new panda bear ice pack appear to be enjoying something inappropriate.

In true Maggie Anne style, she got a Nerf bow & arrow along with a fancy Barbie with her grandaddy's Christmas money - a reflection of my tomboy princess.

The outfit is a true Maggie Anne creation. We had a nice 60-degree day today and she wanted to go out in just the tights. I had to insist on the shorts.
It's a little late, but this just came home from Dalton's school yesterday. I think these are pretty good ones speaking as someone that doesn't make resolutions.

My Maggie is watching the old Annie movie tonight before she sees the new one this weekend. Funny how I still know every single word of this movie.

I don't care what she remembers 20 years from now. All I know is that my 3-year-old chattered all the way home tonight about her favorite rides at Disney World where we went for her birthday over 2 months ago. All because she saw an airplane in the sky and it reminded her of the Goofy airplanes (Barnstormer).

Lesson learned about letting myself be discouraged from taking my youngsters on adventures at an early age. I'll remember them forever even if she eventually forgets.

Jessie, Maggie and I are playing a keep away type game with a stuffed animal. Maggie pinned my arm down and exclaimed, "Ha, ha! Now what are you gonna do? Cry like a little girl?"
How do you resist when this face asks for a bite of your ice cream???

We always throw together some sort of dinner in a mad dash to get to church on Wednesday night. Whether Boyd and I eat is somewhat optional if we can fit it in. Tonight the kids scarfed down all the macaroni before I got any and when Boyd pointed that out, Maggie turned to me, handed me her empty plate with a smile and said, "You can lick my cheese if you want to."

Tonight kids got a treat of eating their dinner on TV trays. Jessie left a few bites on her plate and when the dogs came in, they made quick work of it. Jessie didn't see them do it and was furious when she found it gone. She would not, however, believe that the dogs ate it and blamed Dalton all night.
