Jessie has been learning to count for quite some time now. We just had quite the disagreement when she was counting her toes and wanted to keep counting eleven.

Maggie just informed me that she knows why the person is called Wonder Woman. She says it's because she's a woman and she wonders about things.

So I arrive late to the VBS family night just to have the first guy I see from Sunday School say, "Do you have any idea what your husband just did?"

Turns out, Boyd won the game of shove three ginormous marshmallows in your mouth at the same time and chew and swallow. I didn't know that they made marshmallows this big - the ones that are the size of a small apple.

Yesterday on the way to school, Maggie Anne said out of the blue that we should use her piggy bank to pay for the house. I had to ask her what she meant. She said we could use her piggy bank money to pay for the house and I wouldn't have to go to work anymore. I love her sweet heart for thinking that way!

You know how every so often you hear your words come out if your children's mouths. Well, this morning Maggie & Jessie were playing with our noisy farmhouse, something we've had since Dalton was a baby.

Maggie got to the duck and was showing me how it worked. She stopped and exclaimed, "Hey! Quack Quack would be a great name for a band!"
