I've been sidetracked for a while. Lots of travel and Holiday Cheer. I realized that I have never finished with our Disney trip and would like to share some more of those pictures with everyone!
Wednesday night was a first for us. We went to Cinderella's Royal Table. This is a pricey one. But everything is included in your meal. Dinner for adults is currently $58.99 each and $35.99 for kids. They did have a slightly upgraded menu for the kids. They each got an appetizer of cheese and grapes, but then of course went with chicken nuggets (which lets a parent down when you are shelling out that money and they could get something nicer, BUT they ate it, so I guess that's what's important).
Boyd got a Shrimp Cocktail and I tried the Royal Cheese Trio, and both were yummy. I passed my blue cheese along to Boyd. Boyd, of course, had fish and I got the Beef Tenderloin that really was yummy. Dessert was yummy too with pumpkin cheesecake and the Chef's Dessert Trio for me.
Something that adds value to the food at the Royal Table is the experience and all of the gimme's that they automatically give you instead of charging you separately for. Before you are seated, you get to meet Cinderella. They don't rush you. Maggie Anne got in quite the visit. Then they take pictures with her and that photo package is included with your meal. When the kids got to the table, they each had a little Wishing Star and then they were presented with a magic wand and a sword. Little things, but at least it made it seem like we were getting more than a regular experience.
And again, it's a character meal where each of the princesses come to your table for a visit and pictures. Snow White, Arora, & Jasmine all came to visit.
Most importantly! The tip is included! This very, very, very rarely happens and it really is helpful!
It's a little more up the alley of the little princess, but the sword helped entertain Dalton and the princesses offer enough of a distraction that they did not end up hitting each other with them.
