We treated the kids to a few souvenirs (especially when they were not asking for any). Dalton chose these cool bug glasses.

Of course his sister had to sneak them the following morning. I think they are the perfect accessory for her Little Mermaid costume.

Divine was on my list of things that I really wanted to see. Can you find the lady in the vine? There are no pictures of Dalton with her because he would not go anywhere near her. She scared a grown man so bad that he screamed like a little girl. Maggie Anne wasn't so sure about her as you can see from her expression, but she saw this picture the other day and said she wanted a vine lady costume.

Breakfast with Donald & friends at Tusker House.

Maggie Anne was quite upset with Boyd this morning. Her new thing is to tell you that you ruined whatever has upset her. She was already mad when Boyd told her to go brush her teeth. She dropped her head and started to cry and when we asked her why, she informed us that "Daddy ruined my heart!"

You know you're a parent when sitting on the kitchen floor eating your slice of homemade pizza while the kids eat in the next room feels like alone time.

Dalton was having to put up with a Dora the Explorer episode that his sister was watching. Boyd and I were working in the dining room and heard him say, "Dora! Won't you just figure it out already!?!"

We can't tell you how many times we've thought that over the years!
Maggie Anne came to me tonight and she was a little quiet. After a minute, she asked me why I left my boobies in the sink. It was then that I realized that she found the bra I was washing.

Dalton and Maggie Anne haver been taunting each other to the extreme all day today like all good siblings do. They've been playing outside between thunderstorms. Maggie Anne just ran inside hysterical because Dalton told her that he was running away to another house and was never coming back. She said we had to go stop him right now. How quickly attitudes change!

This is probably my favorite picture of the entire trip. Fully sums up the true nature of a trip to Disney. Play hard, rest hard.

How many kids does it take to remove the Sword from the Stone???

Yes . . . I do believe it was about 8:00 tonight, but I'm more of a "Alright, I'm done with this" kinda mom.

I had to do a double take at this mess.

I tried and tried to figure out what the kids had done. Then I found the culprit . . .

Boyd and I have been wondering this for years!

I've been sidetracked for a while. Lots of travel and Holiday Cheer. I realized that I have never finished with our Disney trip and would like to share some more of those pictures with everyone!

Wednesday night was a first for us. We went to Cinderella's Royal Table. This is a pricey one. But everything is included in your meal. Dinner for adults is currently $58.99 each and $35.99 for kids. They did have a slightly upgraded menu for the kids. They each got an appetizer of cheese and grapes, but then of course went with chicken nuggets (which lets a parent down when you are shelling out that money and they could get something nicer, BUT they ate it, so I guess that's what's important).

Boyd got a Shrimp Cocktail and I tried the Royal Cheese Trio, and both were yummy. I passed my blue cheese along to Boyd. Boyd, of course, had fish and I got the Beef Tenderloin that really was yummy. Dessert was yummy too with pumpkin cheesecake and the Chef's Dessert Trio for me.

Something that adds value to the food at the Royal Table is the experience and all of the gimme's that they automatically give you instead of charging you separately for. Before you are seated, you get to meet Cinderella. They don't rush you. Maggie Anne got in quite the visit. Then they take pictures with her and that photo package is included with your meal. When the kids got to the table, they each had a little Wishing Star and then they were presented with a magic wand and a sword. Little things, but at least it made it seem like we were getting more than a regular experience.

And again, it's a character meal where each of the princesses come to your table for a visit and pictures. Snow White, Arora, & Jasmine all came to visit.

Most importantly! The tip is included! This very, very, very rarely happens and it really is helpful!

It's a little more up the alley of the little princess, but the sword helped entertain Dalton and the princesses offer enough of a distraction that they did not end up hitting each other with them.
