We have a family of birds living in a birdhouse under our carport (they've never done that before or we wouldn't have stored under the carport). Jessie asked me what a bird poop spot on my car was and thought it was hysterical when I told her what it was.

When I picked her up from school, she said, "Is that bird poop on your car?" I said yes and she said, "That's silly. They should use their birdy potty."

I smiled and asked where she thought their birdy potty was. She responded, "In their birdy bathroom in their birdy house." There was an implied "duh" in there.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake

3 cups sugar
3 sticks margarine
6 eggs
3 cups flour
1 - 8 oz package cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream margarine and cream cheese together. Add sugar and cream together well. Add 2 eggs, then 2 more eggs. Add half of flour, than last 2 eggs. Add last cup of flour and vanilla.

Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

This is my absolute favorite pound cake, but it's so rich that I usually have it just once a year. :-)

Fantastic (and super easy) Potato Soup

6 cans diced potatoes with their juice
1 stick butter
1/2 block Velveeta
16 oz tub green onion dip
Small bag of Real Bacon Pieces

Put all together in crock pot and crock for 2-4 hours.
