I'm in Trouble

I had to force my daughter to wear underpants this morning. She seriously wanted to go commando. There was mega drama. I won, of course. Makes me wonder what I'm in for in all the years to come.

My big kids are always drawn to this gorilla at the zoo.

Like all our kiddos, Jessie Anne loves being outdoors, and I love all her cute summer outfits!

Jessie Anne had her first cereal from a spoon. She took to it like a pro!

I was proud when Dalton told me last night that he wanted to be a doctor (evidently, something they had been talking about at school). I was asking him what kind of doctor. He said he wanted to be the kind of doctor that was right by my work (his pediatrician). I asked if he wanted to help kids and he said, "I want to work right by your work." Such a sweet boy. 

 

Jimmy Buffet is in town

Downtown traffic was backed up tonight and Boyd was a little late getting Dalton. Dalton asked why he was late and Boyd told him it was because the interstate was full of Parrot-heads. This answer required a lengthy explanation which ended with Dalton saying, "OK. So there weren't any REAL parrot heads!"

Woohoo!!!!!

I got Jessie Anne's first giggle tonight. Boyd has gotten the first laugh from both of the older kids. This one was MINE!!!! Those first giggles are so precious!
