Nacho hopped up on a dining chair after dinner to see if he could steal a leftover. Boyd said, "Get down, you dumb dog!" Dalton immediately yelled at his dad, "Don't say that to my dog!" (each of our dogs "belong" to different family member) Boyd asked why he shouldn't say that expecting more of a rant about talking to his dog that way, but Dalton responded, "Because saying that is the same thing as saying that he's stupid and we don't say stupid!"
